Identity Theft

Identity theft is when someone uses your personal information such as your credit card or social security number. In order to prevent identity theft, you should:

- Provide only the required information when signing up for online services

- Do not use easy to guess passwords when using online banking, Internet services, or other online services.

- Be careful when sharing computer: close all windows before allowing another user to get on.

If you believe your identity has been stolen, report the problem to all three of the numbers below by phone and mail. Tell each company you want a hold on any new credit applications and that no new applications should be processed without your written permission.
